You're invited to the first book swap at Woodward Health in Carlington, Ottawa!

Location: Woodward Health at 1701 Woodward Dr, Suite LL21, Ottawa ON.

Book swap guidelines

Bring one book that you've enjoyed but are ready to pass on for someone else to enjoy. For a fun surprise, wrap the book in scrap paper or in the flyers you've received in the mail to avoid waste. On the paper wrapping, include:

The book genre.
A few words to summarize themes or tropes in the book.
The Goodreads rating of your book.
Please note if it's a "spicy" book since that may not be everyone's cup of tea.

For instance, for the book Fourth Wing, here is what might be written:

Romantasy
Dragons, college setting, enemies to lovers
Goodreads rating: 4.58 stars
Spicy

You'll be able to grab a refreshment and browse the books that are up for grabs. We'll try to organize them more or less by genre to make it easier for you to find something that may interest you. You'll get to go home with a new-to-you book.

We ask that you only bring one book for the sake of simplicity.

Answers to questions you may have

I don't have scrap paper for wrapping. Can I still bring a book?

No stress! We will be available on the day of the swap with extra flyers and scrap paper on hand to help you wrap your book.

I'm not sure how to find the Goodreads rating of my book. Can you help me when I get there?

Absolutely! We will help make this a fun and stress free event. Someone will be available to help you look up your book's Goodreads rating.

What book genres can I bring?

That's entirely up to you. Anything goes. Every fiction and non-fiction genre is welcome!

Do I have to be a Woodward Health patient to participate?

Not at all. Everyone is welcome!
